I’ll admit this morning to having a touch of writers block. Had I not been searching for some sort of inspiration to get the creative juices flowing, I would not have stumbled upon something remarkable. While catching up on the newsletters that have been piling up in my inbox one in particular caught my attention. In the bottom right hand corner of the Better Homes and Gardens weekly decorating newsletter I spotted it, “All about Wallpaper” {giddy} I couldn’t help but hold my breath for a second as the Wallpap’ress in me took over and thought this has to be good! I was so right.
This “All about Wallpaper” article just happens to detail 19 new and exciting ways to use wallpaper! I start scanning through the pictures head nodding in agreement, happy that all the great things I have thought about are actually being done! It’s taken a while for people to break out of their shells when it comes to wallpaper. Understandable, but wallpaper really isn’t your grandma’s wallpaper anymore. It’s fun, fresh, bold and glamorous. My eye’s land on one tip in particular, Inspiring Opening…
Right on the heels of me expressing my Wallpap’ress love for damasks, I stumble one of our damasks from the Shand Kydd Collection being used to showcase a stylish new tip! This tip in particular highlights and arched entranceway with a pale pattern. {giddy} I would have loved the article regardless because it shows the diversity of wallpaper. That our paper is featured is just an added bonus. Enjoy
